Our community flourishes when we share perspectives and embrace our differences.

With our everyday work, we ensure that all LGBTIQ+ colleagues at BCG Platinion feel included, find community, and fulfill their potential. Over the last years, we have established a global interdisciplinary network consisting of members and allies that work with passion on different objectives.

Enhancing employees' sense of inclusion in the workplace is a matter of course for us to retain the top talent and to attract new ones.

As an integral part of Pride@BCG we shape our culture on a global scale. This is an environment based on openness, acceptance, and a celebration of difference, where we can connect and work together.

We want to ensure all LGBTIQ+ colleagues at BCG Platinion feel included, find community, and fulfil their potential.

Enhancing employees' sense of inclusion in the workplace is a strategy that not only attracts but also helps us to retain the top talent – and it makes good business sense.

We are proud to have a close connection with our colleagues at PRIDE@BCG as well as the wider EMESA network. This is an environment based on openness, acceptance, and a celebration of difference, where we can connect and work together.

Five objectives drive our PRIDE initiative.

Community & affiliation

Strengthening the value proposition for our allies and creating more opportunities for engagement are key activities for us.

Diverse workforce

We are dealing with the questions of what can we do to attract an even more diverse workforce and, also make sure to retain them in the long-term.

External impact

We are working on showcasing our activities externally and how we can have a lasting impact on society.

Inclusion & psychological safety

We aim to improve visibility, accessibility and psychological safety especially in regions with lower LGBTIQ+ quota.

Personal & professional development

Which offerings to our community need to be developed in order to create opportunities for personal and professional growth? We are continuously working on extending our offering.

What our team says about us.

Pride@BCG Platinion is an important platform to me. It is a place where members and allies come together to live our culture of being proud of our diversity, and where we create new ideas and initiatives to make sure everyone at BCG feels supported, no matter of their background.

Axel Griewel

Managing Director, Hamburg

The LGBTIQ+ community needs more than colorful parades once a year. At Pride@BCG Platinion, we aim to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and heard at all times.

Celebrating diversity at the top! Seeing leaders in the BCG Platinion Pride network who mirror my journey has been a game-changer. It’s more than inspiring – it's a powerful reminder that here, we all have a place to thrive!

Jose Franco

Senior IT Consultant, Stockholm

The purpose of our Pride initiative is to safeguard that diversity in terms of sexual orientation and identity is perceived as normal within our company and in society as a whole. In addition to the incredibly fulfilling work for this matter, the community offers me a platform within BCG and BCG Platinion, where I can exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues and, even more importantly, have also found true friends. Our large network of members and allies welcomes everyone who cares about diversity, equity and inclusion.

Nico Clarner

Manager, Munich

By being part of the Pride@BCGPlatinion initiative, I am actively fostering an inclusive & supportive workplace environment where everyone is accepted for their authentic selves, irrespective of their love or identity – which exactly represents the core values of BCG Platinion’s culture.

Still have some questions?
We have the answers!

Can I talk to a Pride-member/ally during my recruiting process?

Yes! Let our recruiting team know if you want to talk to a Pride@BCG Platinion member or ally at any stage of the process.

What kind of membership does Pride@BCG Platinion offer?

There are two different ways to join the Pride network: as a member or an ally. As a member, you can choose to be either an official member or a hidden member. If you opt for hidden membership, you will still be kept informed about all the activities and updates within the initiative, without being officially out. As an ally, you can attend our meetings, most get-togethers and have the opportunity to actively participate in activities, to show your support for the LGBTIQ+ community.

What kind of events/get-togethers does the initiative host?

Once a month, our Pride initiative meets to discuss current objectives, ideas, projects and items on the to-do list. Furthermore, we host various get-togethers throughout the year to drive our projects forward, celebrate our progress and network. Above that, we use our events to build awareness for various LGBTIQ+-related topics and groups of people within the community. We are not only visible internally, but we also participate in CSDs as well as LGBTIQ+ career fairs, where you also have the chance to meet us in person.

Do I have the chance to have influence on my case staffing process? Do I have a veto?

Yes, definitely! You can actively influence the staffing process and can opt out of cases that you don’t want to work on. When you start at BCG Platinion, you can tell us your staffing preferences. If you are assigned on a case or in a country where you do not want to work, you always have a veto.

Is there an option to only be outed within the Pride network?

Yes, there is. Within the initiative, we have the option of joining as a “hidden member”.
