AWS Cloud environment

We prepared an AWS account for each team. These accounts have a budget with which you can use most of the basic services.
For sure, you can use any other cloud provider for your prototyping. However, paid services are only offered on the provided AWS accounts.

In case you need more advanced setup or services, please contact Björn Zucha or Arne Weiner via Slack.

Raspberry Pi Zero

One Raspberry PI will be given to each team. The usage of the Raspberry PI is of cause optional.
If you want to use it, please help yourself with the centrally provided sensors, bread boards, wires, etc.
Please find below some helpful instructions on how to setup your Raspberry PI if needed.

Slack

Slack will be our main communication tool throughout the event.
In addition to one global information and one overall IT-Support channel, each team member will have their private space for quick picture and link sharing.
In case you are having any question regarding the usage or setup of Slack, please contact Marcel Gonsior

Channels

• #general-amsterdam: Please keep an eye on this channel, as general announcements, changes to agenda and other important communication will be shared in this channel
• #ech-support-amsterdam: In case you are experiencing technical challenges, e.g. with the configuration of your AWS account or other, please make yourself heard in this channel. Arne Weiner and Björn Zucha from the BCG Platinion team will be happy to help!
• Team channels: Every team should set up its own channel to collaborate and work together on its product. You can also leverage the video call and screen sharing features to work together effectively.
• #random: Anything that is not strictly related to the event may be shared in this channel
