Jörg finished his studies at the Universities of Tübingen and Duisburg-Essen in mathematics, computer science, and literature, with a PhD in mathematics. During his studies, he codeveloped an AI algorithm to increase OEE in semiconductor manufacturing in cooperation with Siemens, IBM, and HP. Before joining BCG Platinion in 2006, Jörg worked for several years as a software developer and solution architect with SAP in Walldorf, gaining experience in large-scale software development. When starting off at BCG Platinion, he had a strong focus on designing modular and flexible IT architecture for financial services clients.
Since 2008, he has been helping clients in energy sales and trading with designing, managing, and securing several core process and application landscape transformations. In 2016, Jörg supported the start of BCG Platinion Nordics. Since then, he has been leading the offices in the Nordic countries. Jörg particularly advises clients from consumer, retail, medtech, and industrial goods sectors by harmonizing their IT operating models with their companies’ digital agenda.
