The Challenge

A leading insurance company was selling his products through a broker network, with no direct sales relationship with its clients. A change in strategy made it mission critical to have a multi-channel sales across all channel including a new direct channel.

The Process

Our combined BCG – BCG Platinion team first translated the new strategy into clear Customer journeys, and enriched the client own analysis with an outside-in view of what client are expecting in the digital age and what off the shelf solution provide. The BCG Platinion reviewed in depth the architecture to see how to fulfil these customer journeys. We designed a full Front-to-back architecture leveraging modern UI frameworks, solid API technology, microservices and adding an off the shelf BPM tool on top of the mainframe back-end system.
