Christian graduated from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark in 1992 with a Master in Computer Science and a minor in Physics. He initiated his career with Andersen Consulting, developing the architecture components on large system integration engagements across the Nordics. Subsequently, Christian took on the role as CIO in a listed company in the fashion industry but later moved back to the consulting industry by joining Deloitte in 2008, where he focused on growing the IT Strategy & Transformation services in the private sector. In 2010, Christian returned to Accenture to lead the Danish Technology Strategy practice, where he shaped and led a number of IT Strategy & Transformation engagements.
Before joining BCG Platinion, Christian acted as advisor and investor in technology based startups. After 20 years of client services for large organizations on the topics of IT strategy, Architecture & Transformation, and industry positions as CIO and General Manager, Christian joined BCG Platinion as a Managing Director and the Head of BCG Platinion in the Nordics region. In this role, he focuses on helping clients with their digital journeys, aiming to transform Technology & Data platforms as well as Digital & IT capabilities and to identify ways-of-working to be fit-for-purpose in the Digital Era.
