Michael Coden

Head of Cybersecurity

Michael is co-founder and Associate Director of the MIT Interdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity  (Cybersecurity@MIT Sloan). Michael advised the US NIST Cybersecurity Framework and was acknowledged by the White House for his leadership. Michael joins BCG Platinion from an Israeli cybersecurity company, where, as Vice President, he led the cybersecurity product and business strategy. Michael has authored numerous publications and appeared in media to discuss technology and cybersecurity. He holds 16 patents on secure devices and data protocols.

Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT, a Master’s in Business from Columbia University, and Masters in Mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU. In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing tennis and skiing. He loves Middle East and Asian antiquities, Caravaggio, impressionists, Opera, Ballet, Dylan, Rolling Stones, and traveling with his family to see all of the above.
