​As Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and management of national and international client projects. You will collaborate actively with colleagues from BCG Platinion and/or The Boston Consulting Group on site and directly with our clients. You will structure your projects and perform the required resource planning. Besides the functional guidance of your project members, you will also be operationally involved in the project business yourself. Together with our clients, you will develop convincing IT strategies, concepts, and solutions, applying your sound technical know-how, your extensive experience in the management of IT projects, and your analytical and conceptual skills. You will independently support your clients, present your concepts and solutions to client decision-makers, and agree on next steps


Typical tasks include the following

  • Handling IT project management and quality assurance
  • Developing IT target landscapes tailored to the client’s needs
  • Planning and initiating IT transformation projects
  • Optimizing IT value added
  • Analyzing and evaluating IT architectures
  • Evaluating and choosing IT products
  • Managing subprojects in critical IT transformation projects
  • Performing IT due diligence


Knowledge and experience

  • A university degree with above-average academic performance in information technology, business informatics, business administration, or a related field
  • At least six years of relevant practical experience in consulting and in the execution of operational and strategic IT implementation and transformation projects
  • Management experience as a responsible project leader of (client) teams
  • Experience in resource planning and employee management
  • Experience in IT organization and process development
  • Sound knowledge in planning IT initiatives and developing reliable business cases
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills and good organizational talent
  • Business-fluent written and spoken English language skills
  • Distinct client and results orientation
  • Team spirit, communication and presentation skills, and mental agility
  • A confident and convincing manner
  • Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel
