We’re excited to celebrate our colleague Klas Junskog’s first year of work at BCG Platinion.

From taking part in critical projects to growing both personally and professionally, his journey highlights the transformative power of collaboration and innovation. Over the past year, Klas has embraced the opportunities to challenge himself, learn from diverse teams, and make a significant impact on clients. Here, he shares his most memorable moments, the key lessons learned, and what he’s looking forward to as he continues his career at BCG Platinion.

What was your most memorable experience during your first year working at BCG Platinion?

The most memorable moment from my first year at BCG Platinion was handing over the final deliverables on a project I’d seen through from beginning to end. After months of working with the client to document their IT architecture, the sense of accomplishment was real—not just because we delivered, but because we’d built a solid, collaborative relationship along the way. What started with an outside perspective gradually shifted to a true partnership. Presenting the results felt like a shared win, reminding  me how much stronger our work becomes when we truly collaborate with the client.

How has your work contributed to your personal and professional growth?

During my first year at BCG Platinion, I developed an invaluable set of skills—problem-solving, effective communication, time management, and thriving under pressure. One key takeaway has been the critical role of communication. You may have the best solution to a problem, but it’s irrelevant if you can’t effectively communicate it. Learning to express ideas clearly and persuasively has been one of the most significant ways I've grown.

Can you share a story where your work had a significant impact on a client? How did it feel to see the results of your efforts?

One of the most rewarding moments was working on a project where we evaluated a client’s technical platform. Within weeks, we identified key gaps, developed a roadmap for improvement, and bridged the communication gap between technical teams and Executive Leadership. The impact was immediate, and the client’s approach to product development was transformed. Seeing tangible results so quickly was incredibly fulfilling and reinforced the value we bring to our clients.

What advice would you give to someone just starting their journey at BCG Platinion?

What are you most looking forward to as you continue your journey with BCG Platinion?

The steep learning curve is something I truly appreciate — it keeps me constantly engaged and challenged. I know there will always be new opportunities to grow and push the boundaries of what I can achieve.
