The BCG Platinion Institute of Technology Consulting is opening its doors to ambitious young students through a competition designed to help you hone essential skills for strategic technology consulting.​

You can apply as a team of 3-4 people, or individually if you don’t have a group. Each applicant must submit a CV along with a completed questionnaire form.

FAQ

How will I find out if I qualified for the competition?​

We will send information about qualification during the week of February 24 to March 3 to everyone who submitted their application. Thank you for your patience until then.​

On what days will the competition meetings and final take place?

The lectures will take place live in Warsaw and online on the following dates:​
March 7, 17:00–19:00​
March 14, 17:00–19:00​
March 21, 17:00–19:00​
The final will take place on April 25 live in Warsaw.​

Is forming a team required to apply for the competition?​

Participants can apply either as a ready-made team or individually. In the case of individual applications, the organizers will try to match people into teams during later stages of the competition. Teams should consist of 3–4 people. Please note that applying does not guarantee participation – this stage involves an elimination phase.

Who can apply for the competition?

The competition is targeted at final-year engineering or bachelor’s degree students, master’s students interested in the technology and business industries, and fresh graduates. We encourage individuals from various educational and professional backgrounds to participate.

Do I need to have IT knowledge to participate in the competition?

The competition is addressed to individuals interested in technology and current trends in the broadly understood world of IT solutions. Knowledge of IT-related topics in the corporate world will be useful and welcomed.

What is the deadline for registering for the competition?

The application deadline is February 23. We encourage you to register early so as not to miss this unique opportunity.​

What are the stages of the competition after the elimination phase?

After the elimination phase, teams that qualify will participate in the semifinals, which involve solving a specific case study. Then, in the final, the best teams will present their solutions live in front of the jury live in Warsaw.

In what format are the lectures conducted and are they mandatory?

The lectures are conducted live in Warsaw and will be transmitted online for students outside of Warsaw. Participation in the sessions is mandatory, as they are a key component of the competition – these workshops are an integral part of preparing for the semifinals and the final.

Do I need to cover any expenses?

No, participation in the competition is completely free. If your team qualifies for the final stage and you are located outside of Warsaw, BCG Platinion will cover all transportation and accommodation costs.
